The best time to visit Nepal is during the Autumn (September to November) and Spring (March to May) seasons, when the weather is mild and stable, making it ideal for sightseeing and wildlife tours.
Autumn (September to November): This is considered the peak tourist season in Nepal, especially for trekking and outdoor activities. The weather is cool and dry, with clear skies that provide breathtaking views of the Himalayas. It’s the perfect time to explore places like Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and Lumbini, as well as enjoy popular festivals like Dashain and Tihar, which offer a glimpse into Nepalese culture and traditions.
Spring (March to May): Another excellent time to visit, spring is marked by warmer temperatures and blooming flowers, especially rhododendrons in the hilly regions. It’s a great season for tours, where the landscape is vibrant with greenery. The clear weather makes it ideal for photography and sightseeing.
Winter (December to February): Winter in Nepal brings colder temperatures, particularly in the higher elevations. While trekking in high-altitude areas like Everest may be more challenging, this season is excellent for lower-altitude treks and visits to the Terai region, including Chitwan National Park. The weather is clear, though chilly, and tourist sites are less crowded.
Private Vehicles
Throughout the trip, private vehicles will be used for transfers and sightseeing. These include comfortable cars or SUVs, which are good for navigating both urban and rural areas. These vehicles are chosen for their comfort and reliability, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey between destinations. They are equipped to handle various road conditions and provide a high level of convenience for travelers.
Minivans or Buses
For group travel of more than 8 people Buses will be used and for a smaller group Minivans can be used. These vehicles are suitable for accommodating larger groups and offer ample space for passengers and luggage. Equipped with air conditioning and comfortable seating, these vehicles are designed to enhance travel comfort over longer distances. They also offer better stability and space for scenic drives and excursions.
Accommodations for this trip are based on twin-sharing arrangements, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout your journey. If you prefer a single room, a single supplement can be arranged upon request for an additional cost.
Your stay will feature a range of well-appointed hotels, designed to offer comfort, luxury and a taste of local culture. Each location provides excellent amenities to help you unwind after a day of exploration.
Nepal delights with a diverse culinary scene, offering everything from Western favorites to traditional Nepali meals, where the staple includes flavorful rice, lentils, and vegetables. You can also try, momo (dumplings filled with meat or vegetables), and thukpa (noodle soup). Many local eateries and restaurants serve these dishes in a cozy setting, allowing you to experience the authentic flavors of Nepal.
Pokhara caters to diverse palates, featuring restaurants that serve Italian, Indian, Chinese, and continental cuisine. Whether you’re craving pizza, pasta, or curry, you’ll find plenty of options to satisfy your taste buds. The lakeside area is dotted with charming cafés and bistros where you can enjoy a leisurely meal with a view of Fewa Lake. Many of these establishments offer fresh seafood, hearty breakfasts, and delightful desserts, making them perfect spots to relax and unwind.
