Drive to Khao Yai National Park, home to over 2.500 groups of plants, more than 350 groups of birds and several animals such as elephants and gibbons. Hike to a beautiful waterfall and sample fine wines at a local winery.Overnight in Khao Yai.

Depart Khao Yai and head to Korat, halting to see Wat Phra Narai Maharat. This temple is situated on an island and pays respect to the Hindu god Vishnu. Carry on to the temple remains of Phimai which pre-date the famous Angkor Wat and Wat Phra Narai Maharat temple situated on an island. Also visit to Suay Ngam, a group of banyan trees, extremely valued by the locals, prior to enduring on to Khon Kaen.Overnight in Khon Kaen.
Khao Yai – Korat – Khon Kaen

Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ban Chiang and then carry on to Udon Thani where you will have an opportunity to see stunning flowers in an orchid farm. Continue to Nong Khai to visit one of the most fascinating parks in Thailand, Sala Kaew Ku with massive sculptures portraying a blend of religion and fantasy.Overnight in Nong Khai.
Khon Kaen – Nong Khai
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ban Chiang and then carry on to Udon Thani where you will have an opportunity to see stunning flowers in an orchid farm. Head off for Sukhothai, certainly one of tourist attractions of the expedition with its many temple remains from the 13th century. Sukhothai is known as the “cradle of Thai culture” and Wat Mahatat was known as the mystic and religious center of the kingdom.Overnight in Phitsanuloke.

Visit Phitsanuloke’s Wat Mahatat, home to one of the most striking and extremely valued Buddha-statues of Thailand. The head south to Lopburi is also famous as “Monkey Town” due to the hundreds of monkeys wandering about the streets and buildings in the city. Continue to Ayutthaya and explore the temples remains of the primeval Siamese capital, also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Return to Bangkok.
Phitsanuloke – Bangkok
