Nepal and Bhutan with High Asia Tours
My trip to Nepal (3 weeks) and Bhutan (1 week) with High Asia Tours was a wonderful experience thanks to an efficient organization, excellent guides, good choice of restaurants and hotels and an exceptional service from Dev from beginning to end. I particularly enjoyed meeting locals, witnessing pujas, festivals, and the grandeur of the Himalayas. Yolanda from Canada

Amazing 2 week tour!
My wife and I went on our honeymoon in Nepal. It was setup by Dev and his team. We went on a 2 week tour of Nepal and we came back in love with the country. Our local guide, Valmiki, was paramount to our enjoyment of the country. We went to 5 different locations. Flights, cars, hotels, tours, everything was organized with Swiss precision. If you’ve been to Nepal, you’ll know that it is an unbelievable feat in itself. Our guide was able to adjust our itinerary when we needed more rest, more activities, or when we wanted to move on from one location early. Fantastic. High Asia Tours made our trip to Nepal a dream. Thanks Dev and Valmiki (Miki)!
Kingdom of Mustang
If you can take only one trip this year, make it to Mustang, formerly the Kingdom of Mustang, on the Nepal-Tibet border. The road to Lo Mantang, the capital, is a pretty rough, mostly single track dirt road, built in the last decade, that winds through eerie geological formations, mountains and dry river beds that one would expect to see in Utah or Arizona. The small towns reveal Tibetan culture, agricultural methods and ancient monasteries as they must have been in Tibet before the Chinese invasion and occupation. People are gracious and welcoming and tourists very scarce. Get there before it changes: it was featured in National Geographic in the December 2022 issue.
This was my second trip with Dev and High Asia and everything was perfect: excellent driver and compassionate guide, both incredibly knowledgeable about every nook and cranny of the countryside, every Buddhist gompa and cave, the birds and wildfire and where to stop for the best dah bhat! 5 stars plus!
