Nepal

In Nepal, you will stay at carefully selected hotels that offer a combination of comfort, local character, and modern amenities. Whether in Kathmandu, Chitwan, or Pokhara, accommodations are chosen to provide a restful environment where you can relax after each day’s activities. Hotels typically feature well-appointed rooms, friendly service, and convenient locations.

Bhutan

Hotels in Bhutan are classified by the government into grades A, B, and C, similar to international 3- to 4-star standards. We aim to arrange A-grade accommodations in Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha where we select properties known for their authentic Bhutanese charm and warm hospitality. These family-run hotels blend traditional architecture with modern comforts to create a welcoming atmosphere. For travelers seeking a higher level of luxury, boutique 4-star hotels are available in all three locations upon advanced request.

Food

Nepal offers a rich and varied culinary landscape that caters to a wide range of palates. During your journey, you’ll enjoy meals that blend local tradition with international comfort. Most hotels and restaurants serve both Nepali and Western cuisine, so whether you’re in the mood for pasta, pancakes, or pizza, or want to try a hearty plate of dal bhat, Nepal’s staple dish of steamed rice, lentil soup, seasonal vegetables, and pickles.

In cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara, you’ll find a vibrant food scene with access to continental, Asian, Indian, Tibetan, and even vegan and gluten-free options. In Chitwan, resort meals typically include fresh produce and a mix of local and international dishes to suit diverse tastes. Beverages such as tea, coffee, fresh juices, and soft drinks are widely available, and some accommodations also offer limited bar services.

Bhutan features a distinctive and flavorful cuisine, centered around rice paired with seasonal vegetables, spicy meat curries, and lentil-based side dishes. One of the national favorites is ema datshi, a spicy chili and cheese stew. However, for those with a milder palate, non-spicy and Western-style meals are widely available at hotels and restaurants catering to international visitors.

All hotels provide both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, with meals usually served buffet-style or as set menus. Most accommodations are experienced in hosting foreign guests and are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions with advance notice. Expect warm hospitality, fresh ingredients, and an emphasis on organic, locally sourced produce, especially in Bhutan, where much of the food is homegrown.

Whether you’re craving familiar Western comfort food or eager to explore the unique flavors of the Himalayas, the culinary experience on this journey is sure to be both satisfying and memorable.

Visa for Nepal Bhutan Tour

Nepal

Nepal offers a convenient visa-on-arrival service for travelers from most countries. You can obtain your visa upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu or at designated land border entry points. The process is straightforward: bring a valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity, a passport-sized photo (optional but sometimes requested), and the applicable visa fee, payable in USD or other major currencies.

You can choose from three tourist visa options based on the duration of your stay:

15-day visa
30-day visa
90-day visa

However, for this tour, the 15-day visa would suffice.

You’ll fill out an arrival card and a visa application form (available online or at kiosks in the airport), pay the fee, and receive your visa sticker within minutes.

Bhutan

Travel to Bhutan requires pre-approved visa clearance, and all travelers must book their trip through a licensed Bhutanese tour operator or an international partner like us. Once your trip is confirmed, we will handle the entire visa process on your behalf—there’s no need to visit an embassy or fill out complex paperwork yourself.

We submit your application to the Tourism Council of Bhutan, and once approved (usually within 10–14 working days), you’ll receive a Visa Clearance Letter. This document is required to board your flight to Bhutan. Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, immigration officials will stamp the actual visa in your passport.
