Tibet Travel: Where Shall I Start From

You are in the right place to start. Please follow the steps as described below and you will make a dream trip for yourself, your family and friends.

Scheduled Tours

If you are interested about our scheduled tours, it's simple - all you have to do is fill up the trip application form and fax us duly signed. The trip application should be followed by a deposit. The balance will be usually due two months prior departure or advised. We will advise you if you are to apply your Chinese visa in your home country. We will assume that you will arrange your international flight tickets yourself unless otherwise you request us to arrange it. Final trip dossiers and Tibet Travel Permits will be mailed to you about a month ahead of the trip.

Private and customized tours

We are aware that every traveler's interest and requirement is different, we assure you that we can also provide you with personalized services whether you are individual travelers, couples, families, friends or a corporate group. Here are easy steps for us to work out a perfect itinerary and at a reasonable price:

Decide which season and how many days you have to travel in Tibet. Decide which places or areas you want to go; choose a tour route from the list of our independent trips or simply tell us a list of places you want to go or leave it for the advice of our experts. Tell us the number of travelers likely to take up the trip. The bigger the group size is, the better deal you can get. Single traveler willing to take a private room will have to pay the single room supplement.

Decide what class of accommodation you would prefer. The top end hotels in Tibet includes Lhasa Hotel (4 star) in Lhasa, Tsedang Hotel (3 star) in Tsedang, Gyantse Hotel (3 star) in Gyantse and Shigatse Hotel (3 star) in Shigatse. In the middle range, there are quite a few 3 star hotels in Lhasa and 2 star hotels in Gyantse and Shigatse. You will have to adjust in the guesthouses with basic facilities in rest of Tibet. While traveling in Tibet, bear in your mind that you are here not for a luxury but for an experience.

Lhasa, the capital of Tibet

Basically our services start from and end in Lhasa. Please indicate if you need accommodation, transfers and tours in the transit cities. We have our own operation teams in gateway cities like Kathmandu and Chengdu and we have representatives in Xinning, Xian Beijing and Shanghai who can help you arrange your hotels, airport transfers and small tours. Tell us if you have any other special dietary requirement (e.g. vegetarians, vegan, allergic to any foods/drinks, non-smokers, etc.) All internal flights are part of land arrangement. Please let us know if you are to make your own internal flight arrangements. Please remember that you have to come in and get out of Tibet within the duration as specified in Tibet travel permit - no more than that duration. In another word, if you book a 3 days trip, your visa or permit will be valid for only 3 days.

When you decided about above issues, please fill out the Request A Custom Tour form or phone us straight away and talk to our experts. Toll Free: 1 888 612 8694. We will get back to you with an outline itinerary and a quotation within 24 hours (may need 48 hours in weekends). The more information you provide, you will get the quicker and more accurate proposition.

Once we reach into an agreement on itinerary, service requirement and price, you will fill up and fax us the trip application form duly signed followed by a deposit check or credit card payment.
