Day 01: Arrival in Lhasa (Alt 3,595m/11,792ft)
Arrival in Lhasa from Beijing/Shanghai/Chengdu and upon arrival at Lhasa airport, you will meet Tibetan guide and get transferred to the hotel in the city. Take rest for acclimatization. You will experience some mild symptoms of altitude sickness which is quite common so you are advised to drink plenty of water and take enough rest. Overnight in Lhasa at Kyichu hotel.

Day 02: At Lhasa (B)
In the morning, visit the Institute of Tibetan Medicine and visit Potala Palace - probably the principal target of most of the visitors, Sera Monastery - the last of the three Yellow Sect monasteries to be built in Lhasa and the tour concludes in Norbulingkha - the summer palace of the Dalai Lama. Overnight in Lhasa at Kyichu hotel.

Day 03: At Lhasa (B)
Today, you will visit Drepung Monastery - the largest, richest and the most powerful of the three major Yellow Sect monasteries of Tibet, the ancient Jorkhang temple in the old Tibetan quarter of Lhasa and Barkhor street that forms the pilgrim circuit around Jorkhang temple. Overnight in Lhasa at Kyichu hotel.

Day 04: Flight from Lhasa to Kathmandu and drive to Nagarkot (B)
Our guide transfers to airport and we fly over the sea of snow capped mountains. Meet the guide at the airport and drive to Nagarkot - 1.5 hrs. En route visit Bhaktapur - the best preserved medieval Malla Principality. Bhaktapur served as the capital of united Nepal before it split in to three different places Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur in the mid 14th century. Overnight in Nagarkot at Club Himalaya Resort.

Day 05: Explore Kathmandu (B)
Explore Patan - the city of arts and crafts! We visit Patan Durbar Square with former Royal Palace and several temples. We will visit Golden Temple, Kumbheshwara Temple, Mahaboudha Temple etc. We will drive to the traditional Newari Village of Bungamati where we feel that time has stood still! We walk through the cobbled street, poke into the private houses. Afternoon, we will visit Swayambhunath Stupa - the 2000 year old Buddhist shrine situated on a hillock overlooking the valley. We will also visit Kathmandu Durbar Square with former Royal Palace complex. Overnight in Kathmandu at hotel Yak and Yeti.

Day 06: Explore Kathmandu (B)
In the morning, visit Pashupatinath Temple - the holiest Hindu temple on the bank of holy Bagmati River, one of the principal tributaries of Ganges. Admission to temple courtyard is reserved for Hindus only but you would have a very good close up view from the other side of the river. The temple is vibrant with the activities of the devotees. You will also get to see the Hindu cremation services on the bank of the River. The giant Boudhanath stupa lies in 10 minutes distance. This has the fame as the largest Stupa in the world and one of the “must visit” site for Tibetan Buddhists in their lifetime and the area is inhabited by Tibetan refugees. Pilgrims circumambulate the stupa with spinning prayer wheels or counting beads and uttering sacred mantra "Om Mani Padme Hum." Surrounded around the stupa are monasteries associated with different schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Free time in afternoon to pursue your own interest. Overnight in Kathmandu at hotel Yak and Yeti.

Day 07: Departure (B)
After breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight back home or next destination.
