There cannot be any perfect introduction to the vast and beautiful India than this Golden Triangle Tour. This Golden Triangle is so called because if we have a look at the map, we see triangular shape created by the locations of New Delhi, Agra and Rajasthan. Our brief 8 days itinerary given includes classic attractions to discover a different side of this tour. The three iconic cities in northwest India- Delhi, Jaipur and Agra and each with a rich cultural, tradition and historical splendor, come together to form this tour. The charismatic capital, Delhi has several famous sites such as Red Fort, Jame Mosque, Qutub Minar, and others. This is city also of center of politics, administrative and commercial activities. Sights and sounds here will give you impressive experience. Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan also known as “The Pink City” is full of historical landmarks echoing its past glory and existing traditions. In Jaipur, you will discover palaces and forts, temples and gardens and also Jaipur is home to some of the best bazaars in Asia. No word can ever describe Agra than the monument of love Taj Mahal which is simply poetry in marble and the city was also best known for it was once the heart of the Moghul Empire.

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi.

Day 02: In Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi-Jaipur (160 miles, 04 hrs).

Day 04: In Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra (163 miles, 07 hrs).

Day 06: In Agra.

Day 07: Agra-Delhi (125 miles, 05 hrs).

Day 08: Delhi-Departure.

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi, your High Asia representative will meet you at the airport and you will be transferred to hotel. Take a good rest to recover from jet lag.

Day 02: In Delhi
After breakfast in the hotel, there will be a full day city tour, visiting and sightseeing highlights of Old and New Delhi including Raj Ghat, Chandini Chowk, Jama Masjid, India Gate, President House, Rajpath, Qutab Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. Optional dance and dinner at Chor Bazaare in Delhi.

Day 03: Delhi-Jaipur (160 miles, 04 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. En route, visit the Amer Fort where you will take an elephant ride from the base to the top like the Maharajas did in their time. At Amber Fort, you will visit Sheesh Mahal, Ganesh Pol, Shila Devi Temple and Kesar Kyari Bagh.After the tour, continue to Jaipur and check in a hotel.

Day 04: In Jaipur
After breakfast, you will set out to explore the Pink City, its palaces and architecture. You will visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Wind), the City Palace - where the Maharaja of Rajasthan still resides, Jantar Mantar and other sites as well. In the late afternoon, you will visit the local bazaar with its vibrant daily activities.

Day 05: Jaipur-Fatehpur Sikri-Agra (163 miles, 07 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Agra - the glorious city of Taj Mahal. En-route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a city built in red sandstone by Emperor Akbar to celebrate the birth of his son that now lie deserted. A royal city perfectly preserved, Fatehpur Sikri provides a marvelous escape into the past. Imposing gateways and light-filled palaces were built in red sandstone within this fortified city only to be abandoned a few years later. Among its architectural diversity are the places for his queens - Jodha Bai, Mariyam and his Turkish sultana, built in varying styles, each perfect in itself. Later proceed to Agra. On arrival, check in a hotel and take rest until evening.

Day 06: In Agra
In the morning, you will visit Taj Mahal, the biggest attraction of this trip. This is one of the Seven Wonders of the modern world and is the most extravagant monument ever made for love. To people all over, Taj Mahal, the mausoleum of the Mughal Empress Mumtaz Mahal is synonymous of India.Followed by a trip to Red Fort, which has been the seat of Mughal rulers for several years. The fort has palaces with pavilions, gardens, mosques, baths etc. Rest of the day is free to pursue independent activities. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 07: Agra-Delhi (125 miles, 05 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Delhi and you will complete the Golden Triangle. You will spend the rest of day free to pursue independent activities. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 08: Delhi-Departure
Transfer to airport for flight to onward destination.
