Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu (D) Upon arrival, you are met by High Asia Tours representative and transferred to hotel. In the evening, you are invited by our Tour Manager for a welcome dinner in a typical Nepali restaurant where you will have chance to enjoy the folk dances of Nepal.

The main attractions of Patan are Durbar Square, the Golden Temple, Kumbheshwar Temple, Machhendranath Temple and Mahaboudha Temple. As you walk through the streets of Patan, you will see Newari craftsmen at work. Drive about half an hour out of Patan to Bungamati-a traditional Newari Village which despite being so close from Kathmandu, is still untouched by modernization and everything looks so real here! In the afternoon, visit Swayambhunath Stupa-the 2000 years old legendary stupa also nick-named as monkey temple. The stupa is situated atop a hill on the western fringe of the city and is a perfect vantage point for the view of the valley. Conclude the trip in Kathamndu Durbar Square-the old Royal Palace complex surrounded by a cluster of ancient and medieval temples. A must visit place is the Kumari House-the temple of the Living Goddess of Nepal and Kasthamandap Temple, believed to be build by the wood of a single tree trunk!

After breakfast, check out hotel. On the way, we visit Pashupatinath Temple-the holiest Hindu Temple of Nepal, situated on the bank of sacred Bagmati River, Bodhanath Stupa-the biggest Buddhist Stupa architecture in the world and Bhaktapur- the original capital of Malla Kings of Nepal. The town is the best testimony of ancient and mediaeval arts and architecture. From Bhaktapur, the road climbs to Nagarkot, through terraced farmlands and pine forests. Check in hotel and after some rest, take a light walk around. If it’s a clear weather morning, you will see a wide range of Himalayas from Mount Everest in the east to the Manaslu in the west. After breakfast, retrace drive to Kathmandu and continue to Daman- man along the winding and snaking road carved out of the hills densely forested with Rhododendron flowers. In spring, the forest reddens with Rhododendron flowers. Daman, situated in an altitude of 2400m, claims to have the best view of Mount Everest on a clear weather day. After some rest, you may want to take some hikes to the village. Accommodation in Everest Panorama Resort. Day 05: Daman to Chitwan (140km, 5 hrs) (B)
Get up early morning for the most beautiful sunrise view of the world! Go to the observatory for the Himalayan Panorama view and after breakfast, continue your journey to Chitwan National Park-in the southern lowland of Nepal. Chitwan National Park is one of the Asia's best preserved natural Game Park which is home to the Great one horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger and many other endangered species of mammals, birds and aquatic lives. After refreshment, take a short walk tour to the village of Tharu aboriginal people whose life style has remained unchanged over the century. Accommodation in Rhino Residency Resort. Day 06 At Chitwan B/L/D After breakfast, you will set out on a dog out canoe in Rapti River to see the aquatic life of Chitwan. If luck favors you, you will see the one of the endangered species of crocodiles-Gharial. The boat ride lasts for 30 minutes and you will visit the Elephant breeding camp, where you will see the young elephant and learn how the elephants are captured in the wild, how they are tamed and trained to work for human beings. Option: After the canoe trip, interested people with prior arrangement can take jungle walk tour that lasts 3 hours. It's a complete jungle walk trek on foot, guided by experienced jungle guides and sikaris. Return to hotel in the afternoon. After lunch, you will enjoy the Elephant Back Safari and explore the flora and fauna of the park. It’s a a great experience! Great One Horned Rhinoceros is the unmistakable sight. Other animals commonly seen are Sambar, Spotted deer and wild boars. Accommodation in Rhino Residency Day 07 At Chitwan B/L/D Early morning, you will take a bird watching trip guided by our experienced and qualified birdwatcher guides. Chitwan National Park, habitat to more than 500 different species of resident and migratory birds, is a haven for bird watchers. Return to hotel for breakfast and free stay till afternoon. After lunch, you will go for jeep safari. You will drive through different vegetations like wetlands, grasslands, Sal forest etc. Sometime the park authority do not allow jeep safari in the park and in option, we will offer you trip to the lake of "20 thousands lake" in the buffer zone forest of the park where chance of animal sightseeing is equally good. Day 08 Chitwan to Lumbini (158km, 4 hrs) B/L/D Drive to Lumbini-the birth place of Lord Buddha. After refreshment in the hotel, visit the Lumbini Garden. You will visit the temple of Queen Mayadevi Temple and Ashokan pillar that marks the birthplace of Buddha. Overnight hotel. Tansen is renowned as the Queen of Hills of Nepal. The town sprawls over a ridge with pretty Newar houses lining its cobbled streets. Srinagar, the popular vantage point over Tansen offers the splendid views of the Himalayas. Check in hotel and after some rest, hike to Srinagar Hill and stroll in the township. Check in hotel and later stroll in the lakeside and enjoy boating in Fewa Lake and visit the Island Temple of Barahi. After some rest atop, drive back to Pokhara. Visit the famous Bindhebasini temple, en route. In the afternoon, visit the Davis Fall, Gupteswar Mahadev Cave, Tibetan Village and Gorges of Seti River. After refreshment in the resort, visit the 17th century built Gorkha Palace complex which comprise a temple, palace and fort. The view of Manaslu range from here is just superb. Day 13 Gorkha-Kathmandu (136km, 5 hrs) Retrace drive 23 km to join the Kathmandu-Pokhara highway. The drive offers excellent views of the Himalayas and passes through several roadside bazaars and villages. Follow the course of Marshyangdi River upto Mugling and then follow upstream Trishuli River towards Kathmandu. At Kurintar, you can take an optional cable car trip to Goddess Manakamana Temple-famous as wish fulfilling goddess. Rafting enthusiasts also can experience two hours rafting in Trishuli River ( Grade 3+). No previous experience needed.
