Postak, I met your nephew in Nepal, he did an excellent job. Our guide and driver in Bhutan were awesome, too. Dawa, our guide in north India was wonderful, it was great to have a tibetan/buddhist guide for us.
I want to thank you for your service, you did a geat job planning the trip and taking care of the problems that arose. I appreciate your help. |

Thank you High Asia Tours for the wonderful trip we made in September 2006.
The 'Ladakh and Markha Valley trek' was well organized from the beginning to the end!
We where very pleased with the crew how accompanied us during the trek. They perform miracles especially the cook who served us meals with multi dishes during the whole trip.
The guides where outstanding and the surroundings breathe taking.
I can recommend this trip to all persons who are adventures have a good condition and love the beautiful sceneries of Ladakh.

My wife and I would like to thank you very much for organizing our recent trip to Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet; the trip was well planned and everything went off without a hitch.
I must admit that we were a little concerned with transferring money and dealing with a company so far away but after our experience with you, I would have no problem recommending High Asia Tours to anyone wishing to use your services. The communication prior to and during our trip was excellent, the itinerary was well thought out and the guides were very knowledgeable and accommodating.
We live at sea level (Vancouver) and found that when we arrived in Bhutan that the altitude was a lot harder on us than we had expected; shortness of breath and increased heart rate. Our guide was very cognisant of the time required for us to adjust to the altitude, ensuring the itinerary and pace allowed us to make the adjustment very quickly.
We were a little skeptical of the 3 hour hike in Nepal from Nagarkot to Nala but this turned out to be very enjoyable and as it was mostly all downhill, it wasn’t too tiring. It was especially nice to be out of the city to meet and see how the people in the countryside live. Our visit to Chitwan was excellent and very educational; I would recommend a visit to Chitwan to anyone who visits Nepal.
We really appreciated your personal handling of our Tibet visa applications once we arrived in Nepal and the extra time and effort you put forth to obtain the visas so our trip could continue on as planned.
For Tibet, the increase in altitude wasn’t as hard on us as expected but I think that is because we started our trip in Bhutan and our bodies had already started adjusting to the increasing altitude. Again the itinerary and pace that our guide set was excellent and we will always remember his catch phrase, “Slowly Slowly”. The train ride from Lhasa to Beijing was very interesting and although many people got off after the first night, I am glad we stayed on the train as it was interesting to cross the country and see the ever changing landscape and different types of farming.
As noted above, we would like to thank you very much for organizing such an excellent trip for us and we will definitely contact you again if we ever travel to your part of the world again.
Best regards,

I like this small company, because of people, who are working in it. They always try to do their best, to fulfill everything, on what you agreed before beginning of the trip. This is important for people, who decide to travel in Asia, because experienced tourists know, that it's not always like this here. Another thing, they are flexible enough, to help you if you ask more than they promised to you. They really do their best to make your trip wonderful. I hope, they will remain the same, when their company will grow up. My trips to Mustang and to Kailash was wonderful, and they made a lot for this.

Hello Dave,
Our High Asia tour was incredible. While first planning our trip High Asia was able to give us invaluable advice and all the information we needed to make decisions regarding the practical aspects of our trip such as visas, air travel, and especially the procurement of Tibetan Travel Permits. Once we arrived our transportation and accommodations while in Tibet and Nepal were of the highest possible quality. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and would not hesitate to help us in any way they could. Our drivers were very courteous and careful and we were never made to feel unsafe even on precipitous mountain roads or terrible urban traffic. The staff at the High Asia Tours office were so helpful and flexible that they even modified our itinerary for us with less than 48 hours notice. My wife and I would not hesitate to recommend High Asia Tours to anyone considering their services. Thank you so much for everything!

Thank you High Asia for making our trip to and a truly memorable experience. We originally chose to go with High Asia because it was a smaller local company, which turned out to be so much better.Their ability to cater to our every need was ideal. And because we had a private tour, we were able to customize the trip to our exact liking. The guides we had in and were awesome and made us feel comfortable everywhere we went. It was great to have someone in that we knew would help us in anyway and that we could trust while we were in Asia. I am glad that we chose to use High Asia and we were also glad knowing that our money was going back to Nepalese people. I can't say enough good things about High Asia. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to others and would definitely look to use them again in the future.
